The Albany State Golden Rams have had a rough start into their new season. Starting out 0-5 is something no coach wants to endure, but for coach Robert Skinner he has seen this before.
Head Coach Skinner, "we have been here before and sitting in a hole is not ideal. However, I know we can climb out of it like we have in the past.
The best way to start that climb is a tournament that starts on the 19th. The Golden Rams hit the road tomorrow to Kentucky, for three days, six games, and 12 different schools tournament.
Although the record might not show it senior Amber Gatling has seen some real improvement in the young team.
Gatling, "I have been impressed with our freshmen stepping up, and our team unity as the season processes."
The senior middle-hitter; Gatling, is excited to hit the road and put the young starters to the test.
