The 4-13 Albany Tech men's basketball team hasn't caught much of a break this season. Unless, you're counting the multiple injuries the Titans have been handed. A fresh slate started Wednesday with Georgia Highlands and the bulk of the conference season.

Albany Tech survived a furious Highlands comeback for the 65-63 win. The Titans led by 12 points down the stretch before turnovers played in to Highlands' comeback plans.

Colquitt County's Antwon Tuff led the Titans with 24 points. Albany Tech will host Georgia Perimeter Saturday at 4 PM.

Lady Titans Hit Even for the Season

In their first game back in two weeks, the Albany Tech Lady Titans could not keep up with nationally ranked Georgia Highlands.

In a back and forth contest, Tech held a lead with 10 minutes remaining, but scored 11 points in those final minutes losing 53 - 46. Lady Titan Shanice Williams led Albany Tech with 10 points and 8 rebounds.

Albany Tech led at the half 25 - 22 before the cold finish to end the game. With the loss, Albany Tech falls to 9 - 9 for the season.
