A 14 inning affair between ABAC and Darton State baseball ended like two of the previous three games before it-- with the Stallions beating adversity to beat Darton State.
ABAC won the marathon game on Sunday 7-6 taking the series with Darton State three games to one.
Darton State led 4-3 with two outs in the bottom of the ninth when Stallion Hayden Kudela drove a Davis Adkins pitch deep to left center. Trey Haygood bobbled the fly ball near the fence allowing the tying run to score.
In the tenth inning, the Cavaliers scored two runs for a 6-4 lead before ABAC's Matt Fryman tied the game again with a two-run single through the middle of the infield.
Darton State (16-4 in the conference) still leads the GCAA, but Georgia Perimeter (12-4) and Gordon College (11-4) are tied with the Cavaliers in the loss column.
