ABAC women's soccer is accustomed to a certain degree of success. But 2013 could be the year they take the program to new heights.
After losing in the postseason to Georgia Perimeter, ABAC is reloading. They are combining a stellar sophomore class with a number of talented freshmen.
One of the returning players is Nikita Morris, who broke ABAC's single season record for goals. She is confident about how the Fillies will fare this year.
"We got the talent," Morris said. "We need to just get the connection so we can work off our strengths and weaknesses."
Regardless of on-the-field success, the common theme in Ballenger's program is character. He is confident they're going to have a good season, and he holds each player to a very high standard.
"I got high expectations for them," Ballenger said. "They're gonna rise to the occasion. They are going to represent ABAC very well."
