A rough start but a strong finish

Albany State Football Prepare for the biggest game of the year; the SIAC Championship / Jon Benson

In the beginning of Albany State University's football season there have been a lot of questions, and starting out 0-2 didn't help. Looking at the last four weeks of the season you can say the golden rams have answered those questions by earning a four game winning streak.

With these wins comes great reward, a shot for the SIAC Championship. Last weekend ASU beat Fort Valley State in a second half rally to win the 24th annual Fountain City Classic, earning the golden rams a chance to represent the east in the SIAC.

The next biggest step for Albany State will be the rematch for the title, as they face off against Miles College, who in week four beat the golden rams at home 22-19.

If Albany State is going to win the first SIAC title since 2010 they will have to battle it out against the golden bears on Saturday Night in Atlanta.
