The Most Dangerous Path in the World Gets Upgraded
Welcome to El Caminito del Rey, or the King's Little Pathway, aka the world's most dangerous pathway. At least it used to be.
The pathway, near Málaga, Spain was finished in 1905 as a way for workers to go between a dam and a hydroelectic power plant.
The path was closed in 2000 after the death of four hikers on the crumbling walkways.
It reopened in 2015 after new walkways were built atop the old hazardous walkway and other safety enhancements were added for hikers.
