Tampa police say they may have serial killer targeting neighborhood
TAMPA, Fla. (WKRC) - Tampa police say they could have a serial killer targeting one of their neighborhoods.
Three people were shot to death in Seminole Heights during October.
One man was shot Thursday after accidentally taking the wrong bus home from work. That shooting happened just 100 yards away from where another man was killed on Oct. 9. A woman was also found shot and killed in a vacant lot Oct. 13.
Now, police have put out surveillance video of a man seen strolling through the area. They're not sure he's the suspect, but they want to identify him.
People in the neighborhood are scared and held a march Saturday night to reclaim their neighborhood.
Police are advising residents to go outside and enjoy the area, but not alone. They say, right now, everyone is a possible suspect or potential victim.
