Mandatory Fun leads to first #1 album for Weird Al

Weird Al Yankovic has been in the business for years - but he has something he hadn't had until now: a number-one album.

"Mandatory Fun" came out last week - and as usual, Yankovic released a series of videos to go with his latest set of parody tunes.

But he says last week was "the best week of my life" when it came to how people received his work. He says all the attention is both "insane" and "extremely gratifying." He adds that it's hard for him to wrap his head around the level of success he's having now.

The album features send-ups of Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" and Lorde's "Royals" - two of last year's biggest hits.
