Worth County shooting suspects still on the run
We have an update to the shooting that happened in Sumner Friday night.
Worth County Sheriff Jeff Hobby tells FOX 31 News, that around 7:30 p.m. Friday night, two black males approached the home of Harold Crutchfield, then took him to a shed behind the house and started fighting him. Sheriff Hobby says when Crutchfield tried to escape, one of the men shot him in the back.
Hobby says the two men fled the scene.
Crutchfield was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, and is in good condition.
Hobby says the two men could be traveling in an older model white or tan Oldsmobile Cutlass.
Sheriff Hobby says, "we just need everybody to be aware and keep your eyes out for that vehicle or anything matching that description and call 911 and give details and we'll get back to you."
