      Worth County bus involved in wreck

      Tellis fled the scene in the car which was found behind a home on Curtis Street according to police.
      First Update (4/28/14)Sylvester police say that Tellis turned himself in Monday morning.Initial StorySylvester police are looking for a man after his car struck a school bus Wednesday afternoon.Police say that shortly before 4 p.m., a Worth County School bus carrying 10 students was involved in a wreck on West Street in Sylvester. After dropping off several students and attempting to start traveling east again it was struck by a 1988 Chevrolet Caprice Classic after it's driver, Johnathan Tellis lost control.Tellis fled the scene in the car which was found behind a home on Curtis Street according to police.Police say no injuries were sustained from either vehicle.Tellis is charged with driving while license suspended, leaving the scene of an accident, and reckless driving.Anyone with information on the location of Tellis is asked to contact the Sylvester Police Department.
