Worth commission looks at paving roads
The Worth County Commission is working on a plan to pave several of the roads around the county.
Chairman Mike Cosby told FOX 31 for years the residents and commissioners have been working on paving these roads but it's just something that has never gotten done.
Cosby says the bid they got back was for over $600,000 which was more than he was expecting. Cosby thought the bid would be around $400,000.
Right now Cosby is looking to see if they can move around some money and some grants and see if they can fund these paving projects.
One of the roads they're looking at paving is Carlton Rd. which is in Commissioner Billy McDonald's district.
