Women continue to be empowered in Cordele
Women in Cordele are becoming more empowered.
IndigoLife Communications kicked off the Southwest Georgia for Women Empowerment Conference that will last three days in Cordele.
Thursday was family night with karaoke that features a concert.
People across the nation and outside of the country came to attend the conference.
There will be a focus on health, business, building the community and more.
"We want to be able to put the tools in their hands so as their leading families, organizations and business, they understand what is important,” Alicia Ritchey, organizer, said. “We want their leadership efforts undergirded with character."
Thursday will be the day of breakout sessions, and Saturday will be a gala.
