Woman sentenced for boyfriend's murder
A woman convicted in the murder of her boyfriend has been sentenced to life in prison.
Leslie Ballard will serve 30 years behind bars before she is eligible for parole.
Last week she was found guilty of felony murder for to the stabbing of Antoine Hartsfield back in 2011. Ballard was also found guilty of aggravated assault and cruelty to children.
Hartsfield and Ballard were inside their home on Cherry Avenue when the murder occurred.
Officials say the stabbing was the result of an argument witnessed by children in the home.
