      A woman in Coffee County has been charged after authorities say her method of corporal punishment was too much.

      Joann Jackson is looking at a charge of one count of first degree cruelty to children.

      According to Douglas Now officers responded to her home after getting a complaint of child abuse. It was then they examined the juvenile victim and determined the marks on his body were from 'excessive disciplining."
