Valdosta police have arrested and charged a 25-year-old man in connection to an armed robbery Friday morning.

Investigators say that Beauty and Things was held up shortly before 10:30 a.m. by a man that was able to get away with an unknown amount of cash in a white sedan.

Witnesses were able to give responding officers a description of the man and the vehicle, which was located at a home on Baymeadows Drive within 30 minutes.

RaShun Daniels was found at the home and matched the description of the suspect given by the witnesses.

As the investigation continued, police say that led to Daniels being charged with armed robbery.

“The witness testimony in this case was crucial in providing an accurate description of the offender’s vehicle. This is another example of citizen participation playing a critical role in making arrests. The investigating officers in this case are also commended for a quick resolution and arrest of the offender before he was able to harm anyone else,” said Lieutenant Adam Bembry in the release.
