Flint Fest kicks off Saturday and while downtown has plenty to offer adults, there will also be tons of activities for kids.

The Flint RiverQuarium will hold its 2012 Wings and Wildlife Festival starting Saturday morning.

There will be a 'Birds of Prey' show featuring different types of hawks of owls, a 'Snakes of Georgia' exhibit and a reptile showcase.

"That puppet guy" will bring his puppet show to the museum in addition to the games and arts and crafts that kids will have to choose from.

Flint RiverQuarium officials say the best part about Saturday's festivities is the discount.

"It's a dollar off all tickets, which is really a good deal. If you want to add a movie you get an extra two dollars off of that, which is quite a big difference from what our typical rate is," says Melissa Martin, Flint RiverQuarium Education Manager.

The festival at the Flint RiverQuarium will begin at 10:00 a.m.
