Wild Adventures Theme Park (WA) is one of the area's largest employers and a strong economic engine for the community. Each year, the park provides jobs to more than 700 people from the seven surrounding counties, including north Florida, and seeks to hire additional employees for the upcoming season during its job fair Tuesday, February 5 and Wednesday, February 6.

"We are the entertainment destination for families, but we are also a large economic engine in the community," says VP and General Manager Molly Deese. "Wild Adventures is one of the top 10 largest employers in the area, employing hardworking people from right here in our community. Each year we spend $5.8 million in labor, which means money going to families working and living in and around Valdosta."

Wild Adventures is currently assembling its team for the 2013 season and looks to fill approximately 200 positions at its job fair Tuesday, February 5 and Wednesday, February 6 at the park. WA is looking for positive, hardworking people to fill positions in the following areas: Admissions, Aquatics, Attractions, Entertainment, Finance, Food and Beverage, Games, Merchandise and Park Services. All interested applicants must pre-register for the job fair by Sunday, February 3 by completing an online application in order to attend.

Interested applicants can apply for available positions and pre-register for the job fair online at www.WildAdventures.com/jobs . WA provides an easy and eco-friendly online application process, giving applicants the opportunity to search job positions, apply, and upload resumes online. The park does not accept paper or e-mailed applications.

Wild Adventures is a Georgia Certified, Drug Free Workplace and an Equal Opportunity Employer. More information about job opportunities at WA and instructions on how to apply are available at www.WildAdventures.com/jobs.
