Wild Adventures Theme Park presents the third annual Red, White, and You! event, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, September 3 â" 5, to pay tribute to working men and women in the community, particularly those who serve and protect. As part of the Labor Day weekend event, guests can donate a canned food item and receive a FREE general admission with the purchase of a regular general admission to help support Second Harvest of South Georgia. Other weekend events include displays and demonstrations from local agencies Saturday, September 3.

"It is our honor to continue this event for the third year," said Vice President and General Manager Greg Charbeneau. "Red, White, and You! is our way of paying tribute to the heroes who serve and protect, and for our guests to share in the tribute. The past two years of this event, guests donated approximately six tons of canned food items to Second Harvest of South Georgia and we are asking them to reach out and donate again this year. The event is a way for our community to help one another and learn about the wonderful agencies and services available."

Guests receive one free general admission when they purchase a full-price general admission and donate at least one canned food item to support Second Harvest of South Georgia. The offer is available at the park September 3 â" 5, admission must be used on the same day of purchase and is valid for the second day FREE.

Guests to the park during Red, White, and You! can learn about services in the community through displays and demonstrations, Saturday, September 4. Organizations and businesses participating in the event include: Air Methods, Air Evac, Lowndes County Fire Rescue, Lowndes County Sheriff's Office, American Red Cross, Second Harvest of South Georgia, Valdosta Fire Department and Valdosta Police Department.
