Elliott Minor, a former Associated Press correspondent known for covering South Georgia for more than two decades has died.
Minor joined the AP in 1973 and was transferred to Georgia as the Albany correspondent one year later. The writer covered a range of stories from agriculture and weather to features and retired in may of 2007.
