An Albany woman says she was assaulted by a wanted man inside of her home.

Frances Roberts was working in the yard outside of her home on Red Oak Lane when she says she went inside to get a cup a coffee. That's when her dog started barking and a white male, armed with a gun, grabbed her.

Roberts described the man to police who believed it might be 58-year-old John Dabney. Roberts saw a picture of Dabney and agreed it was him.

Dabney is wanted by Dougherty County Police in connection to a robbery of the Stop and Shop on Cordele Road a few weeks ago.

If you have any information on Dabney's location, you are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 436-TIPS.
