Folks sporting their pink in Albany on Friday, all walking for a good cause.
Hundreds showed up to the Turner Job Corps to show their support for those impacted by breast cancer.
This is the second year the event was held and organizers say they hope to raise awareness about all types of cancer and the fact that prevention and education are key in fighting the disease.
"Self breast exams, encouraging our men to get their prostate exams and telling them the need to maintain their health, said Calandra Johnson with Turner Job Corps, "and to be educated to avoid as much as we as humanly possible can to prevent breast cancer."
This year's grand marshal was Tina Phipps a breast cancer survivor herself.
All proceeds raised Friday will go to the Carlton Breast Health Center in her honor.
