Yoga instructors from all over Albany came together Saturday for the Yoga Aid World Challenge.

This world-wide fund raising event benefits charities that use yoga to help improve their communities.

A two hour Yoga class was held this morning at the Albany Area YMCA.

It was free to attend but participants were asked to make a donation, which went to support Yoga Gangsters, an organization that aids at risk kids through yoga philosophies and techniques.

"I just like the idea of helping high risk kids. I think they need an outlet, I think they need something to do that relaxing, they can do it anywhere and it doesn't cost anything", said Donnette Louis, Senior Fitness Instructor at the Albany Area YMCA.

16 people showed up to this year's Yoga Aid World challenge, and all of them were able to make it through the entire two hours class.
