UPDATED: Georgia State Patrol investigates fatal car wreck in Lee County

The Georgia State Patrol has confirmed one death in the accident involving a car and a tractor trailer Sunday.
The case is still under investigation, so troopers are unable to give many details about the crash.
But according to GSP, pregnant 17-year-old Heather Aycock was a passenger in the Ford Mustang involved in the wreck and was not wearing a seatbelt when she was ejected from the car and died.
Her mother, Theresa Aycock, was driving the Mustang and was treated and released from an area hospital, and Lewis Deangelis--Heather Aycock's boyfriend was a front seat passenger.
He's still in the hospital in serious condition.
The driver of the tractor trailer was 43-year-old Barry Michael Broadhead.
No charges have been filed in the case.
A terrible accident involving two cars and a semi out on Highway 82.
It happened at 82 and North Doublegate Drive.
Witnesses say a semi was running a yellow light when it struck a Ford Mustang trying to turn left onto Doublegate.
We do know several people were taken to the hospital.
Lee County EMS responded to the scene along with Lee County Sheriff's Office and the Georgia State Patrol.
The GSP is still investigating this case and we'll bring you more details about the accident as they become available.
