Saturday May 14, 2011 FOX 31 held local auditions at The Levee Studios to find top talent for Simon Cowell's new show the X Factor premiering this fall on FOX 31.
While many talented musicians showed up, we could only send two to Dallas Texas for a guaranteed audition in front of X Factor producers. The wait is over and the winners areâ|.
****LARRY MALLORY AND CAYLEE ANNA HAMMOCK****
Larry Mallory is a 43-year-old record manager at Orthopedic Associates. He wow-ed judges by singing Luther Vandross and actually got the most points in the competition.
Caylee Anna Hammock is a 17-year-old Southland Academy student who blew the judges away with her big pipes. She says her dream is to inspire someone to be able to feel music.
Both Larry and Caylee performed live Tuesday May 17th on Good Day at 8:30 a.m. Clips of their appearence can be seen at the WFXL Facebook page! They'll both represent Albany, Georgia as they move on to Dallas Texas with an audition pass for a guaranteed audition in front of show producers.
