*UPDATE* Fatal crash in Worth County

**Update 1:30 p.m. Wednesday May 25, 2011**

We now know the name of child killed in a car accident Tuesday night in Worth County.

Georgia State Patrol troopers say 10-year-old Cameron Koehler died when the pickup truck he was riding in hit a cement drainage ditch head on. Four other people were injured in the accident.

Koehler was a student at Worth County Elementary School. School officials say they will have counseling services available to students, faculty and staff as needed.

**Update 8:30 p.m. Tuesday May 24, 2011**

Four people were injured and one person died in a late afternoon accident when a pickup truck hit a cement drainage ditch head on.

Emergency officials arrived at the scene with a teenager lying outside of the vehicle and officials had to use equipment to open the vehicle's doors to remove four other people, three of which were children. A ten-year-old child was pronounced dead at the scene. All others were transported to the hospital.

Georgia State Patrol Trooper is still investigating the case and GSP has not released the names of the people involved yet.



A deadly car crash has taken the life of one person in Worth County.

The accident happened at the corner of Red Rock Road and Highway 313 just before 5 p.m.

Victims were taken to the hospital.
