Unusual stroll tips Albany Fire Department in arson case
ALBANY, Ga. —
The Albany Fire Department is one step closer to solving an arson case on Dawson Road.
The fire department has video of a man in a gray hoodie starting a fire at the Anderson Company Realtors Group business.
The man started the fire in pine straw away from the building.
The flames spread, and the building was burning within about 40 minutes.
Investigators want you to notice the way the man sways his left arm as he walks.
"I've never seen anybody walk like that,” Arson Investigator Sam Harris said. “Someone in Albany knows who this person is because it's a very distinct walk."
Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 436-TIPS.
There is a $10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. A $1,000 reward will be given for information that leads to just an arrest.
