Two stores burglarized within minutes
Dougherty County Police are asking for the public's help in identifying suspects who may be connected to two overnight burglaries.
The Pit Stop located at 3225 Sylvester Road was burglarized early Thursday morning.
Around 2:30 am, two black males busted out the glass in the front door with a concrete cinderblock.
The men jumped over the counter grabbing cash and cigarettes before they exited the building.
About 15 minutes later, the Stop and Shop located at 700 Cordele Road was burglarized. The suspects used the same entry method that was used in the Pit Stop burglary.
DCP officials say there is a possibility that both crimes are related, being that the Stop and Shop is down the street from the Put Stop.
Police have release surveillance photos and video in hopes that someone can identify the suspects.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS.
