Two sets of brothers indicted in separate cases
Two sets of brothers were indicted by a Dougherty County Grand Jury on Wednesday in two separate cases that happened just two days apart.
Johnny Lee Hill and Keaton Donate Hill were indicted for their involvement in an armed robbery at the Family Dollar in East Albany on March 14th. Officials say the brothers entered the store with a gun and demanded money, but thanks to good descriptions they were caught shortly after.
Johnny Lee Hill was then also charged with another armed robbery and hijacking a motor vehicle that happened just 5 days before.
Johnny Lee Hill faces 8 counts while his brother faces three.
Two days later, another set of brothers were arrested for their involvement in a fight that ended up with a man being stabbed in the stomach.
Carlos Santiago Sherman and James Calvin Sherman Junior were indicted on three separate counts in the fight that happened on the 100 block of Marie Road. Both brothers are charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony.
