Two Colquitt County men have been indicted by a grand jury in two separate murder cases that happened earlier this year.
Blake Samples faces charges of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and three counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony for the April 28th murder of 29-year-old Dustin Carroll.
Officials say Samples allegedly fatally shot Carroll during an argument and told them it was in self defense.
Fausto Gonzalez was also indicted on felony murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony as well as three counts of cruelty to children for the June 2nd shooting death of his wife.
Officials with the Sheriff's Office say Gonzalez turned himself in 12 hours after the shooting, which stemmed from a domestic dispute.
