      Two injured in Sylvester Rd. collision

      UPDATED (8:00 PM):

      DCP confirms to FOX 31 that two vehicles were in the right lane heading West.

      A van slowed down for a tractor. A woman driver in a Kia was distracted by her child and hit the van from behind.

      The totaled Kia ended up in the left lane and the van came to a rest in the middle of the road.

      No major injuries were reported.

      An 11-year-old male complained of a shoulder injury and was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment.

      The driver of the van complained of minor injuries as well.

      The Dougherty County Police Department and EMS responded to a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Sylvester Road and Ashwood Street Friday night.

      Two occupants in the vehicles have been transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment.
