Two crash survivors released from hospital

Police say 45-year-old Janette Norem caused this crash on Hwy 300

Two survivors in a fatal crash on Highway 300 have been released from the hospital.

Jennifer and Bradley Parker survived the crash that killed their 17-year-old son Jesse and left their 16-year-old daughter in critical condition. Dougherty County Police say 45-year-old Janette Norem, of Cordele, swerved into the opposite lane on Highway 300 Saturday afternoon and hit the Parkers' SUV and a tractor tailer. Norem was pronounced dead on the scene, Parker died at the hospital.

The Parkers were driving through Georgia on their way home to Wisconsin.
