      Two arrested in liquor house operation

      An undetermined amount of alcohol was recovered and destroyed by officers on the scene.

      Officials with the Albany Police Department say Matthew Baker and Barbara Greer were arrested and charged with operating a disorderly household.

      A third person, Sherby Johnson, was arrested and charged with obstruction of an officer.

      Initial Story
      A liquor house operation was conducted in the 1300 block of East Residence Avenue by the Albany Police Department's Uniform Bureau and the Gang Unit Saturday night.

      An undetermined amount of alcohol was recovered and destroyed by officers on the scene.

      Two people were arrested and each are facing a Disorderly House charge.

      Officials witht the Albany Police Department say it is illegal to sell out of the house because they're selling the liquor without a permit.

      This incident is still under investigation.
