Two arrested in Douglas for Flash Foods coffee robbery

Officials with the Douglas Police Department have announced that they have arrested two men in connection to the January 22nd armed robbery of Flash Foods.

Investigators say they were able to identify the individuals crime and arrested 39-year-old Earnest Knighton January 28th. 37-year-old Andre Knighton turn himself in Thursday.

Both individuals have been charged with armed robbery and battery in connection to this crime.

The store clerk told police two black males entered the location, one approached the county and purchased a cigar and the other filled up a cup with hot coffee. That suspect then threw the coffee at the clerks face, pulled out a large wooden stick, and forced the clerk to go to the register.
