Turtle Park was the scene of what police say was a forceful robbery.

Saturday night police responded to the 200 block of S. Washington St. where they say the victim, who has not been identified, reported the incident.

The adult was at the park when a suspect approached and used his fists to demand money.

Three children were at the scene when the robbery happened.

Authorities say there are no suspects but they are following up on the incident.

Also on Saturday night, officials responded to a drive-by shooting that happened on Westover Blvd.

Just before 11:00 p.m., two victims located at 3800 Dominion Ct. alerted authorities of the crime.

They say while driving down Westover a black male drove up beside them and began firing shots into the vehicle.

Police reports show the suspect was driving a grey Pontiac during the shooting.

Evidence has been obtained and authorities are on the lookout for the suspects and vehicle.

Anyone with information on either case is asked to contact the Albany Police Department.
