Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service Director Bobby Tripp announced he will be retiring after nearly 40 years in Albany.
Tripp says he'll miss the people he's worked with the most, saying his has been a dream job, looking forward to coming to work each day.
But now, Tripp says he's looking forward to traveling with his family.
"My son and I are going to southern California to see the Dodgers and Angels and Padres in May, so looking forward to that!" says Tripp.
Assistant Director Greg Rowe has been named to take his place when Tripp's retirement takes effect March 16th.
