A lot of families will go 'trick or treating' Thursday night and officials are sending out a reminder about Halloween celebration times.
Dougherty County children are asked to go out between 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Albany police advise parents to check candy before it's eaten and remember that all curfews will be enforced.
Officers with the Albany Police Department will be on Pumpkin Patrol out in each district and there will also be a Halloween event to be held at the Law Enforcement Center in the Community Room.
Bishop Fredrick Williams, with Stop the Violence, will have an Annual Trunk or Treat event downtown on Halloween. This starts at 6 p.m.
In Lee County people are asked to go out between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Coffee and Berrien Counties ask that all 'trick or treating' stop by 8:00 p.m.
Terrell County festivities are set up stop around 9:30 p.m. and everyone is advised to be off the streets by 10:00 p.m.
People can start collecting candy in Mitchell and Crisp Counties at 5:30 pm. and continue until 7:30 p.m.
Colquitt County will have ~Pumpkin Palooza from 4:00 p.m. To 6:00 p.m.
Tift, Worth and Calhoun Counties haven't set up any time constraints.
