Traffic stop leads to marijuana bust in Lee County

The Lee County Sheriff's Office has made a sizeable marijuana bust after a traffic stop Friday.
During a press conference held Friday afternoon, the Sheriff's Office announced that 33-year-old Kelsie Brown from Parattville, Alabama was arrested during a routine traffic stop and charged with one count each for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a sawed off shotgun during the commission of a felony, and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
Also arrested in the car was 23-year old Darryl Tucker from Albany, Georgia. Tucker was charged with one count each of possession of Marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a sawed off shotgun during the commission of a felony, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Deputies say that close to five ounces of marijuana was confiscated during the stop. They also found measuring scales, and a marijuana seed crusher inside the vehicle.
Sheriff Reggie Rachals said this arrest should serve as a warning to drug dealers.
"We're looking and we're going to come up on you and we're going to get you," said Reggie Rachals, Lee County Sheriff.
