GSP Trooper Benton confirms that a red, Ford Ranger was traveling north on U.S. 19 and turned left into the path of a white, Toyota Avalon traveling South.
The Avalon struck the Ranger on the right side, pushing the Ranger into a stop sign in front of Advanced Auto Parts.
The driver of the Ford Ranger, Robert Ott, is at-fault and charged with Failure to Yield Turning Left.
Both Ott and the driver of the Avalon, Anita Whiteman, suffered minor injuries. Whiteman was transported to the hospital by EMS for treatment; Ott refused treatment.
Lee County Sheriff's Office, Lee County Fire and the Georgia State Patrol responded to a two-vehicle accident off of U.S. 19 S early Saturday afternoon.
Traffic was slowed temporarily while the vehicles were moved out of the roadway.
No word on injuries.
GSP is investigating.
