Severe weather is pushing through Southwest Georgia Friday afternoon.

One thunderstorm caused problems for some Albany residents.

The Albany Fire Department, Code Enforcement and Dougherty County Police has been called to an accident in the 3900 block of Radium Springs Road where a tree has fallen on top of a vehicle with a person inside.

The driver tells FOX 31 during the heavy rain, she applied the brakes and slid under the branch.

      No injuries have been reported.

Multiple trees have also fallen along Radium Springs Road and Antioch Road making travel in the area difficult.

Use an alternate route as crews work to remove downed trees.
