Tifton scientists honored for hard work

According to the Tifton Gazette two scientists from Tifton that work with the U.S. Department of Agriculture have been honored for scientific achievements in regards to improving crops and protecting the environment.
The two scientists honored were Karen Harris-Shultz and Richard Lowrence; they were the only two ARS scientists to be honored in the Southeastern United States this year
They were selected because of their research on improving plant breeding and helping farmers improve production all while protecting the environment.
