Tifton man killed after being ejected from vehicle
A 24-year-old Tifton man was killed in an accident on Sunday night after the car he was riding in ran off the road and flipped.
Officials with Georgia State Patrol Post 13 say Kenova Solomon was a passenger in a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer traveling on Georgia 7 north of Chula when it ran off the road, hit a fence and rolled around 7:15 p.m.
Troopers say Solomon was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
The car was driven by 19-year-old King James Capone Green who was taken to Tift Regional Medical Center for his injuries, and officials say Green is still being hospitalized.
Post 13 Senior Trooper S.P. Jenkins says the accident is under investigation and charges are pending.
