The investigation is ongoing.
Dawson police officials have announced that three arrests have been made in the murder case of Daquavious Reed.
They say that after an active, ongoing investigation, 20-year-old D'Andre Theophlouis Carter was arrested and charged with armed robbery from a separate incident.
On August 15th, investigators from the Douglas Police Department took warrants out on D'Andre Theophlouis Carter, Claudin Pubien and Claron Ronkiethius Carter for murder while an additional warrant was also taken on Carter for possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. The same day, investigators from the Douglas Police Department with the assistance from Deputies from the Coffee County Sheriff's Department and Drug Investigators from the Douglas/Coffee County Multi Agency Drug Unit made an arrested Pubien and Carter.
Officers from the Douglas Police Department say the arrests stemmed from the death of Reed back in July.
The case is still under investigation and more charges may be pending at a later date.
