      The Albany Convention and Visitor's Bureau held their monthly hospitality meeting Thursday.

      They announced that they withdrew their bid for the 2014-2016 Special Olympics Georgia Fall Games due to lack of funding but said they aren't against bidding again later on down the road.

      Other than that, things seem to be looking up. J.D Sumner, the sales manager, said the numbers for June are 5% higher than what they were in June of last year.
