Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College held what they call the Rural Symposium today in Tifton.

The symposium is for students and community members who want to know more about rural life; something that hits close to home for us here in Southwest Georgia.

One student said there really is a need to student this area. Sue Mastrariod told FOX 31, "rural is different, rural has different issues than big cities, we have different resources or lack thereof than a big city like Atlanta."
