The Salvation Army looks to community for help
ALBANY, Ga. —
The Salvation Army needs the community’s help to aid others across the country.
They say the biggest need for the Las Vegas shooting victims is blood.
They do have officers there helping and assessing what other needs the victims have.
People are also still suffering from Hurricane Harvey. They’re asking for donations to send to their headquarters to help people in Texas because there’s still a great need.
“For the resources to get to where they need to be, people need to donate supplies and monetary gifts,” Lt. James Sullivan said. “It takes a while to make sure they’re going into the areas that are affected.”
Anyone interested in donating should contact The Salvation Army in Albany.
