Albany Fire Department engine truck drivers say, unlike ambulances, they don't get the respect of the road when they're traveling to a call. Battalion Chief Keith Ambrose says they're always looking out for your safety and theirs; "it helps us out tremendously when you pull to the right, that gives access to the left side to move around you or make any type of moves we have to safely maneuver through the traffic."
Ambrose adds that they don't have many accidents but they've come close numerous times.
