Chehaw Park is having their 22nd annual Frontier Festival.
This festival is a historical and educational event featuring activities related to the American Frontier between the 1700 and 1840.
Many residents and workers come out dressed in period clothing which includes buckskins, drop pants, and moccasins.
The festival also features traders resembling the economy of the American Frontier during this time. Traders are trading and selling items that include necklaces, hand-sewn clothes and other trinkets.
Friendly competition tomahawk throwing, rifle shooting and open-fire cooking are also featured in the festival.
