Terrell County man is sentenced for killing two people

According to FOX 31 media partner The Albany Herald, a resident of Terrell County has been sentenced to 30 years in prison after killing two people in a car accident, in 2013.
Scotty Oxford, 36, was sentenced Monday for a fatal incident in February of 2013 killing Latosha Harvey and her 4-year-old daughter, Emani.
The two victims were walking across high way 82 when they were struck by a tractor trailer driven by Oxford.
A third victim, Adrianna Glover, was also severely injured. Oxford initially fled the scene on foot, and later surrendered to authorities in Eufaula, Alabama.
He will spend the first eight years of his sentence in prison and the rest on supervised probation.
