Albany High Students learned about victim's rights Tuesday.
They participated in a ceremony where they heard from representatives from the Liberty House and the Lily Pad--refuge centers for battered and sexually assaulted women and children.
Students learned teenagers are the most common victims of these type crimes.
"It's sad that teenager have to go through all that and I'm glad that we have somewhere to go," says student Kristyn Matkin.
98 pinwheels sat at the edge of the school's marquee symbolizing the 98 victims of violent or sexual crimes from January to March 2012.
Since March, there have been an additional 20 victims.
