Two people wanted in other counties were caught Thursday by the Sylvester Police Department and brought drug related charges of their own.
Police officials say that 27-year-old Timothy Polk was arrested around 1:00 a.m. at the Ez Corner Central Store on Franklin Street.
Polk was wanted out of Henry County for failing to appear and was charged in Sylvester for use of communication to sell drugs and the sale and possession of cocaine.
Later on Thursday, Sylvester police made a traffic stop due to an obscured tag on Franklin and Isabella Street.
The driver, 40-year-old Rickey Goodwin, was wanted for an active warrant out of Wilacoochee, Georgia. He was charged by Sylvester police with possession of drug related object, tag violation, possession of methamphetamine, possession of schedule 2 narcotics, drugs to be kept in original container, drug possession of schedule 4 narcotics and a suspended license.
His passenger, 40-year-old Wendi Weldon, was charged with possession of drug related object, possession of methamphetamine, possession of schedule 2 narcotics, drugs to be kept in original container and drug possession of schedule 4 narcotics.
